Greetings Unto the Kingdom Scribes, Please remember the general guidelines for scroll formats when completing kingdom level scroll assignments. These guidelines allow the recipients to find framing more easily. When scrolls are done in off sizes, or using different border margins etc, not only does it become impossible to find a good frame, but Their Royal Majesties may be unable to properly affix the Seal and Their Signatures to the scroll ( and this may result in the scroll being returned to the Trillium Signet for reassignment ). If you have questions about the format of a scroll you are working on, do not hesitate to contact me. You can also find guidelines in the Scribal Handbook - available from the Kingdom Information Officer - Lord Normand Hauberger kokobase@sympatico.ca for $5.00 In Service Lady Lyda McTier It has been an interesting time since taking up the work of the Trillium Signet from Baroness Tesla de Chardon. I have had the opportunity of seeing many great works from you and look forward to seeing not only more great scrolls - but more great scribes coming out. Now that my Lord and I are generally settled into our new home, I am working on hosting a monthly scribal session where scribes can come and work on projects, blanks, and learn some techniques or find that special font they've been hunting for. The date for the first session is tentatively set for Sunday, May 28st 1:00pm to 4:00pm. If you are interested in joining us for this - please contact me and let me know if there is something specific you would like to do or learn about. As we enter into a new reign in these Lupine Lands, I am working on several project ideas to challenge our collective talents. I encourage you to contact me with ideas you may have about things the Scribes could do this year to show off our skills. Their Majesties, Aaron and Rustique, are looking forward to seeing what we can do - I say let's really show them something spectacular! In service to the Wolf and the Will, |
